11th National Conference on Renewable Energy Sources, Greece
TESSe2b was in the 11th National Conference on Renewable Energy Sources, in Thessaloniki, 14-16 March 2018.
TESSe2b partner – CRES - participated in the 11th National Conference on Renewable Energy Sources, which took place in Thessaloniki between the 14th and the 16th of March 2018. The Conference was organized by the Institute of Solar Technology, in collaboration with the School of Mechanical Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh).

During the Conference, CRES presented within the “Hydrogen and Storage” Session the work entitled “Adoption intention and willingness to pay for a residential integrated geothermal and solar energy storage solution”, prepared by Dr. S. Karytsas, Dr. O. Polyzou and Dr. C. Karytsas.

The study presents the findings of the behavioural social survey performed in 5 European countries during 2016-17, concerning various aspects of the TESSe2b system: a) consumers’ views on perceived benefits, b) consumers’ perceived adoption intention, c) willingness to pay (in €) and d) acceptable payback period in order for someone to be willing to invest in it.
